First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study follows 200 women having surgery for symptomatic uterine fibroids to see how their pelvic floor changes over a year. Half will have a hysterectomy, half a myomectomy. Researchers will measure pelvic floor structure and symptoms at 1, 6, and 12 months after surgery. The goal is to understand which operation better preserves pelvic floor health.
