NCT ID NCT07595614

First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how analyzing the weekly written stories of people in rehab for substance use can help track their emotional and mental changes. About 35 men in a residential treatment center in Mexico will write about their feelings and challenges, and fill out questionnaires every two weeks. Researchers will use computer programs to find patterns in the stories that might show early signs of getting better or worse. The goal is to learn how to better support recovery, but the study does not change the treatment patients already receive.
