New image database aims to catch upper GI cancer earlier

Summary
This study is gathering images from special cameras and CT scans, along with lab results, to create a database for early upper gastrointestinal cancer and precancerous conditions. About 500 adults who are already scheduled for certain procedures will take part. The goal is to improve how doctors detect these conditions, not to test a new treatment.
