NCT ID NCT05854160
First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how the brain manages emotions, especially fear, in people with epilepsy who already have electrodes implanted for surgery. Researchers will record brain activity and use mild electrical stimulation to see how certain brain areas talk to each other during emotional tasks. The goal is to better understand emotion processing, not to treat any condition. About 30 adults will take part.
