New ultrasound technique could sharpen cancer detection

Summary
This study is testing a new type of ultrasound called multiparametric ultrasound (mpUS) to see if it can give more detailed information about tissue than standard ultrasound. Researchers will compare mpUS images to regular ultrasound and other tests in people at high risk for pancreatic cancer or with thyroid nodules. The goal is to see if mpUS is a practical and better way to evaluate tissue.
