Summary
This study tests whether giving sedation before ultrasound-guided spinal anesthesia can lower the chance of back pain after surgery. Spinal anesthesia is common for lower body surgeries but can cause discomfort or ongoing back pain. Researchers will compare standard methods with ultrasound guidance and sedation in 180 adults to find a safer, more comfortable approach.
