New ultrasound tech aims to sharpen kidney stone detection

Summary
This study tests whether new software can make ultrasound images more accurate at finding and measuring kidney stones. About 370 adults with calcium-based kidney stones will have a research ultrasound, and the results will be compared to standard CT scans and surgical findings. The goal is to improve non-invasive diagnosis without radiation.
