Seeing your muscles move: new ultrasound approach aims to ease common shoulder pain
NCT ID NCT07464639
Summary
This study is testing whether showing people real-time ultrasound images of their shoulder muscles working helps them activate those muscles better than standard physical therapy instructions. Researchers will work with 26 adults who have shoulder pain during arm lifting. They will measure muscle activity and shoulder joint space to see if the ultrasound feedback leads to better muscle control and potentially less pain.
