First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests if using ultrasound to push a medicine mix (tranexamic acid and glutathione) deeper into the skin can safely lighten melasma patches. About 35 adults with facial melasma will receive the treatment on one side of their face and a comparison on the other. The goal is to see if the ultrasound method works better than standard application.
