Better scans for better surgery: new study aims to improve bowel endometriosis care

Summary
This study compares two types of ultrasound to see which better measures severe bowel endometriosis before surgery. About 98 women will get both a standard vaginal ultrasound and a special ultrasound during their operation. The goal is to help surgeons plan more precisely and possibly avoid unnecessary bowel removal.
