New portable scanner aims to replace X-Rays for bone checks
NCT ID NCT07187518
Summary
This study is testing a new, portable ultrasound device called POROUS that measures bone density without using X-rays. Researchers want to see if it works as well as the current standard DXA scan, which is a large, stationary X-ray machine. They are enrolling 350 healthy men and women aged 21-55 to compare measurements from both devices on the same people.
