Summary

This study looks at how well blood flows in the skin of the breast after mastectomy and radiation therapy, and after a fat grafting procedure. Researchers will use a special ultrasound technique to measure blood supply before and after fat transfer. The goal is to better understand how these treatments affect skin healing and to possibly improve future breast reconstruction. About 15 women who have had a mastectomy and need radiation will take part.
