NCT ID NCT01737606

First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested a new ultrasound technique called Fast Cerebral Pulsatility Imaging (FCPI) to measure tiny brain movements in healthy adults aged 18 and older. Researchers aimed to see how these brain pulsations change from young adulthood to old age. The study involved 53 participants and used MRI for comparison. Results may help understand normal brain aging and set a baseline for future studies.
