First seen Dec 24, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study is testing a new PET imaging method that uses 10 to 100 times less radiation than current scans to detect bone issues like cancer, infection, and arthritis. Researchers will enroll 200 adults to see if the new technique still produces clear images. Participants get a radioactive tracer and are scanned for up to 3 hours.
