First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026

Summary

This early study is testing a new, ultra-minimally invasive procedure that uses a small balloon to open up the prostate and improve urine flow in men with an enlarged prostate (BPH). Five men aged 40 to 80 with moderate to severe symptoms will be treated and followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if the procedure is safe and can reduce symptoms like frequent or weak urination.
