Home pain procedures could cut hospital trips for chronic sufferers
NCT ID NCT07265492
First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving pain-relief procedures—like nerve blocks—at home can help adults with chronic, cancer, or nerve pain. About 100 people in a home hospital program will receive ultrasound-guided treatments at home instead of in a clinic. The goal is to see if this approach reduces pain, lowers the need for painkillers, and improves quality of life safely.
