Asthma cell study in kids halted before it began

NCT ID NCT03784781

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study planned to compare immune cells called type 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2) in children with severe asthma versus non-asthmatic children. Researchers wanted to see if these cells are higher in asthmatic children and if they relate to other markers of airway inflammation. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
