Could a diabetes drug fix damaged blood vessels?

NCT ID NCT05478707

Summary

This study is testing if a medication called dulaglutide can improve the health of tiny blood vessels in the muscles of adults with type 1 diabetes. Researchers believe better blood flow might help the body use insulin more effectively. The trial is currently suspended and was comparing the drug against a placebo in a small group of participants.
