First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study compares a newer imaging method called TXI with standard dye-based imaging during colonoscopies in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The goal is to see which method better detects precancerous changes that can lead to bowel cancer. About 242 adults with IBD will take part. The results may help improve cancer surveillance without extra preparation or time.
