NCT ID NCT06141798
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether starting dialysis twice a week instead of the standard three times a week can reduce hospital visits and improve well-being in older adults (60+) with kidney failure who still produce some urine. About 428 participants will be followed for up to 2 years. The goal is to see if a less frequent schedule is safer and more practical for elderly patients.
