First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study is looking back at the health records of over 1,200 people who survived a rare, life-threatening blood disorder called immune thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (iTTP). The goal is to understand their long-term health, especially heart and brain problems, and how different treatments affect their lives. By finding patterns, researchers hope to create better care plans for survivors.
