Ear-Zap therapy may unfreeze stiff shoulders

NCT ID NCT07368751

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether adding a gentle nerve stimulation device (tVNS) to standard exercises can reduce pain and improve movement in people with frozen shoulder. Forty adults aged 40-65 will receive either active tVNS or a sham device during 6 weeks of supervised rehab. Researchers will measure pain, function, and satisfaction to see if tVNS provides extra relief.
