Summary

This study looks at whether the Timed Up and Go (TUG) test, a common walking test, can reliably measure how people with multiple sclerosis (MS) perform when they have to walk and think at the same time. About 50 volunteers with MS will do the TUG test alone and while doing simple mental tasks or carrying an object. No treatment is given—just tests and questions over about 30 minutes. The goal is to see if this test can help doctors better understand and manage walking and thinking problems in MS.
