Electric fields zapped at spine cancer in pioneering wearable trial

NCT ID NCT05746325

Summary

This small, early-stage study is testing whether a portable device that creates electric fields is safe and practical for people with breast or lung cancer that has spread to the lining of the spinal cord. Participants wear the device on their back for most of the day, aiming to stop cancer cell growth. The main goal is to see if people can tolerate wearing the device long enough for it to be a viable future treatment option.
