First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This completed study used advanced MRI scans to look at heart structure and function in 276 adults with chronic kidney disease (stages 3-5). No treatment was tested; the aim was simply to learn more about how kidney disease affects the heart.
