Three-Drug attack on Tough-to-Treat skin cancer

NCT ID NCT02910700

Summary

This study is testing two different combinations of three drugs to see if they are safe and effective for people with advanced melanoma that has a specific genetic change (BRAF mutation) and has spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to control the cancer by using an immunotherapy drug to boost the immune system alongside targeted drugs that block cancer cell growth. The trial has enrolled 52 participants to compare the safety and how well the tumors respond to these triple therapies.
