Summary
This study tests if the antibiotic trimethoprim can safely lower folate levels in men starting hormone therapy for advanced prostate cancer. About 50 men will take the drug daily for 3 months to see if it helps control the disease. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage prostate cancer.
