Could an old antibiotic boost prostate cancer treatment?

Summary
This study tests whether the antibiotic trimethoprim, taken daily for 3 months, can safely lower folate levels in men starting hormone therapy for advanced prostate cancer. About 50 men will participate. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and might help control the cancer better.
