Summary
This study tested a drug called trilaciclib given before chemotherapy to people with advanced small cell lung cancer. The goal was to see if it could protect bone marrow and the immune system from damage caused by chemo, reducing side effects like low white blood cell counts. The study involved 123 participants and was completed in two parts: an initial dose-finding phase and a larger blinded phase.
