New online therapy aims to ease anxiety in autistic preschoolers

Summary

This study tests a new telehealth program called DINOSAUR for children ages 4 to 6 with autism who also have anxiety. The program uses cognitive-behavioral therapy adapted for young kids to help them handle uncertainty and worry. Researchers will enroll 70 children to see if the program is practical and effective. The goal is to reduce anxiety and improve daily functioning.
