First seen May 15, 2026 ยท Last updated May 15, 2026

Summary

This study tested a precise type of radiation (SBRT) in 86 men with prostate cancer that had started growing despite hormone therapy. The goal was to see if zapping just the growing spots could slow the cancer down and delay the need for chemotherapy. The researchers also looked at blood tests and scans to find markers that might predict who benefits most.
