Could your GP soon diagnose heart problems on the spot?

NCT ID NCT07339007

Summary

This study is testing a training program that teaches family doctors how to use a portable heart ultrasound machine. The goal is to see if, after training, these doctors can accurately spot common heart problems during regular check-ups. Researchers will compare the doctors' ultrasound results with those from heart specialists to check their accuracy. If successful, this could help patients get diagnosed faster and reduce long waits to see a cardiologist.
