Doctors train to spot brain emergencies faster

NCT ID NCT05427838

Summary

This study tested whether a short online training course could improve the ability of emergency department doctors and nurses to accurately read CT scans of the head. The goal was to see if this training could help them identify critical problems like strokes or brain bleeds more quickly in their own practice, potentially speeding up treatment decisions. The study compared the scan-reading accuracy and confidence of staff who took the training against those who did not.
