First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a traction pad during hip arthroscopy can lower the chance of numbness in the groin area after surgery. About 120 adults having hip surgery will be asked about numbness and trouble urinating before and after the procedure. The goal is to make recovery more comfortable by reducing a common side effect of the traction used during surgery.
