Summary
This study aimed to understand how cancer-related DNA in the blood changes before, during, and after surgery. Researchers followed 30 patients with breast, prostate, or colon cancer who were having surgery intended to cure their disease. The goal was to gather basic information to help design future studies on how surgery or anesthesia might affect cancer outcomes.
