Summary

This study tests a cream called ketotifen fumarate for women with secondary vestibulodynia, a condition causing burning or sharp pain during vaginal penetration. About 54 women will apply the cream or a placebo twice daily for 12 weeks to see if it reduces pain and improves quality of life. The cream aims to calm nerve inflammation in the vulvar area, offering a potential non-surgical option.
