Summary

This study tested whether lidocaine or benzocaine sprays could reduce pain and improve satisfaction during needle insertion for hemodialysis. 60 patients were randomly assigned to receive one of the two numbing sprays or a placebo. The goal was to see if these sprays make the procedure more comfortable.
