Summary

This study tests two different radiation schedules given before breast cancer surgery and reconstruction. One schedule uses the standard number of doses, while the other uses fewer, larger doses. The goal is to see which schedule causes fewer side effects and works better. The study involves 126 adults with invasive breast cancer who are planning to have a mastectomy and tissue-based reconstruction.
