First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using a stannous fluoride toothpaste together with a cetylpyridinium chloride mouthwash can improve gum health and reduce plaque better than using regular fluoride toothpaste alone. 199 adults with gum inflammation (gingivitis) took part. The main goal was to see if the combo reduced bleeding gums after 12 weeks.
