Summary
This study tested whether a toothpaste with stannous fluoride can improve gum health better than a regular fluoride toothpaste. 154 adults with mild gum inflammation (gingivitis) used one of the two toothpastes for 12 weeks. Researchers measured gum bleeding and plaque to see which toothpaste worked better.
