First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study compared two different tooth filling materials for treating cavities. 23 adults with at least two cavities received either a glass ionomer or a bulk-fill composite resin filling. The fillings were evaluated over 4 years to see how well they held up. The goal was to find out which material performs better in real-world use.
