Summary
This study reviews dental records from 2005 to 2018 at Tufts University to see if the reasons for pulling first molars have changed. Researchers will measure bone loss around extracted teeth and other factors like gum disease and tooth decay. The goal is to understand if dentists are now pulling teeth earlier than before.
