Your tooth, your graft: new study tests Bone-Saving trick
NCT ID NCT07267637
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a bone graft made from your own extracted tooth can help preserve the jawbone after a tooth is pulled. Twenty people who need a tooth removed will receive this graft, and their bone height, width, and density will be checked with a special 3D X-ray before and 6 months after the procedure. The goal is to see if this natural, low-cost method works as well as traditional grafts to keep the bone strong for future dental work.
