First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests a new tool called ToolBoxDetect that helps doctors quickly and easily check for early signs of memory loss or dementia during regular visits. About 41,500 adults aged 65 and older from diverse primary care clinics will take a short computer-based test. The goal is to see if this low-cost method can reliably find cognitive problems earlier, especially in people who might otherwise go undiagnosed.
