NCT ID NCT07434583

First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at the forces placed on the tongue and throat during laryngeal surgery and whether they cause pain, numbness, or other problems. Researchers will measure these forces in 100 adults having throat surgery. In the first 50 patients, surgeons won't see the measurements; in the next 50, they will get real-time feedback to adjust their technique. The goal is to learn if reducing these forces can improve recovery.
