NCT ID NCT07637487
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This phase 2 trial is testing whether a daily dose of tocotrienol, a form of vitamin E from palm oil, can reduce markers of aging in healthy adults aged 35 to 64. Over 6 months, 220 participants will take either tocotrienol or a placebo. Researchers will measure changes in cellular aging, inflammation, and overall health to see if the supplement can promote healthier aging.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a simple supplement to promote healthier aging and reduce the risk of age-related diseases.
