Brain zaps for eyesight? trial tests magnetic therapy for vision loss

NCT ID NCT07425717

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called TMS can help restore vision in adults with severe retinal degeneration. Researchers will compare real TMS treatment to a fake (sham) procedure over five days to see if it improves how well participants can see. The study will follow participants for a year to check for vision changes and any side effects.
