Summary

This study tested two different ways of using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to treat depression that hasn't improved with medication. Fifty adults with treatment-resistant depression received either bilateral or unilateral theta burst stimulation over several days. The goal was to see which method better reduces depression and anxiety symptoms.
