Summary

This study tested a personalized form of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to treat emotional blunting—feeling numb or flat—in people with depression. 80 adults received brain stimulation tailored to their own brain scans. The goal was to see if this approach could improve emotional experience and help understand how the brain controls emotions.
