Brain zaps may help female athletes beat depression after concussion

Summary

This study tests a brain stimulation treatment called TMS to see if it can ease both depression and concussion symptoms in female athletes. About 35 women aged 18-65 with a recent concussion and moderate-to-severe depression will receive the treatment. The goal is to improve mood, sleep, and overall recovery.
