NCT ID NCT07452289

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested a procedure called arthrocentesis (joint washing) using ozonated water, with or without a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection, for people with a displaced jaw disc. The goal was to see if adding PRP improves mouth opening, reduces pain, and lowers inflammation. Twenty patients who had not responded to other treatments took part.
